The Dubai International Financial Exchange (DIFX) is a stock exchange regulated to international standards and offers a wide range of international stocks and listed products.
To trade in the DIFX, investor would need:
Mashreq US$ account
DIFX Trading account
Documents needed
- Passport copy of each account holder, verified by Mashreq Securities or a correspondent institution or notarized and authenticated
- Current Signed ID Card (or other identification documentation that is customary in the country of residence such as driving license, Social Insurance Card, etc. having a clear photograph) or Khulasat Al-Qaid (for UAE residents)
- Two types of Proof of Address (Bank Statement, Tenancy Agreement, Utility Bill or Local Authority Tax Bill) If required: Notarized Power of Attorney in case of authorized representative(s) & Guardianship documents authenticated by UAE Court or relevant Embassy for minor investors (under 21 years of age)

Transfer of shares:
To transfer shares to DIFX, the shares must be transferred to Mashreq Capital’s account with Deutsche Bank.
Once they are reflected, the investor will be able to trade provided he has a US$ account with Mashreq.
