NASDAQ Dubai Trading Operations merge with DFM
Information for existing Mashreq Securities' NASDAQ Dubai and DFM clients:
With reference to the NASDAQ Dubai (ND) merge of Trading Operations with the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) which will be effective from Sunday July 11th, 2010, please note the following changes that will occur in regards to your trading of NASDAQ Dubai securities through Mashreq Securities:
- Since you have an existing DFM trading account through Mashreq Securities, you will need to quote your DFM Client ID going forward to trade ND shares.
- For any clarifications on your DFM Client ID and sub account number to be used to trade ND shares, please contact our Customer Service at the number specified below.
- We have already informed DFM to place in your trading account with Mashreq Securities your current holdings of ND shares and these will be available for you to trade on Sunday July 11th, 2010 through the DFM platform.
- Further, please note that if you have Online Trading access active through Mashreq Securities, you will now be able to trade ND shares through the E-trade platform.
- The revised fee schedule applicable from July 11th, 2010 will be as follows:

Also, please note that prior to the NASDAQ Dubai go-live date of July 11th, 2010; we as Mashreq Securities are undergoing a system upgrade to prepare for this merger. This system upgrade will be live on Sunday July 4th, 2010. From July 4th, 2010 you will be able to trade NASDAQ Dubai shares under your DFM/ADX Client ID.
